My local server has this error:

As I typed "[localhost"]; where my root websites located, I got an error with title "500 Internet Error" and a content as follow:

As I browse to any specific website, ex: [localhost], it shows the same error.

make sure your server is in offline mode.

No, it's running online.

if your server is in online mode then you can not access it using [localhost]. you will have to access it using your ip address. if your server is in offline mode, then you can access it using localhost.

I've tried putting eigther offline or online -- It gave the same error.

do you have any other versions of apache or any other webserver like iis installed on your computer? make sure if you are using a router you may have to preform port forwarding. also make sure your firewall allows apache and mysql are allowed full privileges.

Well, the problem seems to happen after I configured my DNS with OpenDNS's instruction(http://www.opendns.com/start/windows_xp.php). Now, I've removed it. But the error still exist. Maybe I miss something??!!
