Installation freeze

Hey all, quick question. I'm trying to install the newest version and when I get to the part of the setup where it says "Extracting files", it just hangs. I've tried version 1.6.6 and 1.6.5 and both seem to do that. I've let it go for a long time and nothing happens. IT creates the directory and then 6 or so files in that, but nothing else. Any thoughts as to why? I haven't found anything in the FAQ's or forums.

Some people have problem w/ package downloaded from Sourceforge, so you might want to try from my location instead. Here your are. For each link, roll to bottom and click on "Fast and Extreem". BTW, after uninstall and before reinstall wamp, search your computer and registry and delete all related wamp such wampapache, wampmysql, so on. Also, if you've ever had Apache or mysql before, search and delete all related files as well.
