Hi to all.
First at all, let me send a Thanks Message to the Wamp Team. Nice Job.

I did a search and i didnt found any topic related with this sugestion:

is ti possible to make a WAMP WIN/XP version with PHP 4.XX or 5.xx compiled with the --enable-memory-limit option?

WHY? because it enables the function
memory_get_usage() useful to write PHP scripts (taking care about the memory usage).

[usphp.com]

Ive tryed a lot of alternatives that replace the fuction memory_get_usage() but none seems to work.

If you can add this feature to your releases ill be glad,

Note: If search in google youll find a lot of people asking to make this in WIN systems, so a i think it can make WAMP more popular and functional.

you dont have to compile support for memory_get_usage(), it is a part of the php core.

This is simply not true, or the original poster would not have posted it.

Try using memory_get_usage() under wamp 1.6.6, and it won't work. Please re-answer the original question.
