Just installed wamp5 for the first time, new to this was using phpdev but it didnt support php5. Everything was going well except i cannot connect to mysql. I read that with php5 you need to make sure the path to mysql.dll or something file is correct however there is no php.ini file in c:/windows?

Should i uninstall and reinstall, if so what is the procedure?

Wow thanks for the super quick reply. I fixed the problem, turns out with this install you have to create a user for the database to make a connection. With the old install with phpdev it was optional!!!

Just found that incredible icon in the bottom right hand corner...!!!

Good work.
