Hi all, I have installed wamp few days ago. On the first day,it worked well. I used "root" as username and blank password. I did not change anything. But today I can't login. I am trying to use "root" as username and blank password as usual. But it is showing this message " #1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server". In config.inc.php, it is also $cfg['Servers'][$i]['AllowNoPassword'] = true;

I did not change password or did nothing. Still can't login. Please suggest me.

My icon is yellow and mysql is not starting.I think it is the problem,but it was not 2 days ago. How to solve it?

Install TeamViewer and I will troubleshoot for you.

Install TV, then run it.

Do this before attempting a connection.

How to Configure Team Viewer so it does not require port 80 or 443

Run TV
Extras -> Options -> Advanced -> Press the Advanced Button -> Advanced Network Connections

Check the checkbox saying [ Dont use incomming port 80 (recommended for web servers only ) ]
Stop and restart TV.

Then
Send me a Private Message containing the TV ID and PASSWORD so I can connect.
Leave TV running as it will change the password each time you restart it.

That guys problem was that he installed another piece of software that itself installed anuther copy of apache and mysql.

Are you sure you only have one version of both?
