WAMP and Win 8

Trying to install template

JoomlaXTC Travelblog 2.5
RT Celuran 2.5

OS Win 8 64bit
WAMP server 2.4
Joomla inst. 2.4
Apache 2.4.4
PHP 5.4.12
MySql 5.6.12
Visual C++ Rx64

WAMP server is green, but when i get to step 4 (Database) it stalls..???
It´looks like, it cant write to the database...

Anyone?

The problem is, that the installation of the Template never finish, because when i´m at step 4 in the installation, it look like the installation i working (like writing to the database) but it never finish.

I'm not a Joomla guy so I probably can't help you much. I'm guessing that you have this Joomla template that has some installation sequence and that it appears to get hung up in step 4 of the installation, whatever step 4 is. Can you look at the database and see if anything has been accomplished? Again, I'm guessing that one of the steps in the installation is the creation of the database and it's structure. Is it there or not? Without knowing the steps being followed, it's a bit difficult to resolve your problem.
