phpMyAdmin, login

I just installed wamp. Things went fine. I can get to the main index page. Then click on phpMyAdmin to setup a database (my goal is to get wordPress running locally). I get a login screen for username/password with phpMyAdmin at the top. I just installed wamp, so how would I know what my username and password are? I didn't ask me to create one during the installation.

MySQL comes with one User account pre-set

The username = root
The password is not set so leave that field blank

When you say "leave that field blank"...what if it isn't blank? Make it blank?

Is there somewhere I can get a clear set of instructions for wamp and all the stuff in it?

Thank you kindly.

WAMP is a mashup of other software APache/MySQL/PHP/phpmyadmin etc. All of these are documented on there own sites.

Its just a a case of reading them all.
