Have a look at the db2992201.sql file.

Does it have a 'use' statement somewhere near the top? Shoudl be in the first few lines if its there at all.

Just wondering if it has loaded a different database?

Ok,

Database Changed is the message output after a successful >use xxx; statement.

I guess you didnt do the next instruction i.e. the source command.
Its this command that actually reads and runs the sql statements in your backup .sql file.
You should see a lot of messages scroll down the screen as this is running.

Is that what happens?

They are 2 seperate instructions.

Run them seperately, one after the other.

did that - restarted Wamp

in phpMyAdmin, clicking on the database - it says no tables found. The sql file is about 8 MB...

Re: Firefox blocking port 8000 and others!!

Found another site that suggests the same thing but it says use a comma instead of a '-'

So try changing
about:config
network.security.ports.banned.override
to 7999,8001

Changed the override so it does not un-block all ports like we did earlier.
