The first part I copied from someone else on this forum, cause i have the same error, but I couldn't find ANY answers on the internet..

----

i have wamp2.2 . It was working perfect and now it has started showing error.
Local host and all other works perfectly

When i try to access phpmyadmin it shows an error

Error

MySQL said: Documentation
#2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured).

apache - error log

Error

MySQL said: Documentation

The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured).

---

The wamp server icon stays orange the whole time, mysql wont start. I think the problem could be find in de wamp/bin/mysql folder. Cause when I installed xampp and I copied only the mysql folder from wamp to xampp the same error occurs.

Please help me, or tell me how I can export my databases without using phpmyadmin.

Thanks!

WAMP and XAMPP are basically the same thing.

So they both installed Apache and MySQL onto your system.

Make sure XAMPP's MySQL and Apache are not running when you want to run WAMP's Apache and MySQL, or they will interfeer with each other and you will get unpredictable results.

Your problem is you probably have XAMMP's MySQL running so WAMP's MySQL wont run

Have you still got the problem?

Also when you say deleted XAMPP, do you mean uninstall or just delete the xampp folders????

Still the same problem. I did really uninstall it. I've been searching online for about two days and I tried absolutely everything.

I am Dutch and therefor my laptop is installed in Dutch too, but maybe you can try to help me by using teamviewer?,

Do you have you database backed up?

It looks like you have got the innodb log files out of step, probably by having 2 mysql's running and not sure which was doing what.

Try deleting the ib_logfile0 and ib_logfile1 from c:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.x.y\data and then restart mysql.

I would then do a RESET MASTER and restore your databases.
