WampServer

I have just installed Wamp5 and all services seems to be running. I have the default index page showing up when I open [localhost]

I am a complete beginner when it comes to programming and have decided to use Wamp5 while I learn PHP and Mysql.

I have tested my first php doc and all looks fine, so this much I can understand.
However, I am a little concerned after reading about security issues etc, so can anyone talk me through a very simple step by step process of setting up a passwords etc?

A 'setting up Wamp5 for dummies' or along those lines would be much appreciated!
