Apache crashes at localhost

I just installed WAMP 5.1.6.0 and the first time I access localhost I get the startpage with aliases, links to phpmyadmin, sqllitemanager etc. But the second time Apache crashes and I get this errormessage:

szAppName : Apache.exe
szAppVer : 2.0.55.0
szModName : php5ts.dll
szModVer : 5.1.1.1
offset : 00008be4

Can anyone please advise how to resolve this?

Hi Martin,
I had the same problem with the same error message.
I'd fixed the Apache crashes adding the password used with 'root' acount in the 'phpmyadmin/config.inc.php' file (line #73). This password was created when the phpmyadmin recommended have a password to 'root'...
